Studio Session 1 - Footage Review - 5th November

Editing together footage from what was essentially another rehearsal on the 5th with footage of some previously captured VHS party shots, we were able to get a preview of the style/feel that we were able to achieve. We relied on the animatic as a means of keeping the test footage consistent with our well thought out ideas and to aid with syncing the shots properly.



In review of the footage, the studio footage seems fairly boring. However, we know that when it comes to editing, use of different angles and shot types will undermine this dullness. The only concerning issue with the footage is that the VHS is filming in 4:3 ratio, resulting in the off-putting black lines bordering the footage.
