Once receiving feedback on our animatic, we translated our ideas into a refined structure and created a shoot board to accurately depict which shots we needed. Dividing the shots into setups will allow us to film at the most efficient and convenient rate possible.
It was necessary to create a shoot board for each day with details about targets for the day, actors, equipment, props, lighting, lenses and any other vital information. Following a shoot board ensured that nothing important would be forgotten.
Naturally, we created separate shoot boards for on location shots (in London) as different types of information would be needed. For instance, no mention of lighting is necessary but how to travel to and from various locations would be.
